Mexicanzingo is a family run Mexican restaurant with lots of heart and warmth. The meals are delicious and Carlos and Luis make you feel like a part of the family! I ordered a Taco salad with steak. Most Mexican restaurants have them on their menu. At Mexicanzingo they include mushrooms and because I ask for no cilantro, I get a tailor made Taco salad that is delicious and unique! My friends and family always enjoy their meals and look forward to the guacamole and chips/beans. West Milford, Warwick, Monroe and Greenwood Lake are lucky to have Mexicanzingo in our backyard and that Carlos and Luis work so hard to keep Mexicanzingo open seven days a week!

Didn't know what to expect. Didn't want to go to our regular Mexican restaurant in Monroe because of the crowd and traffic that is now happening in our once quaint town. So we opted to go the opposite way and head to Greenwood Lake and try this restaurant. It was so authentic, cozy and delicious. Taste authentic, no crazy crowds to compete with and the owners were very nice and attentive. This small restaurant delivers BIG flavors. Everything is made to order and is fresh. Sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes for a to go order (really only because they are super busy) but it's nothing once you break into that super flavorful dishes.  You can tell they take pride in their food and love what they do.  I have to say I order from here more than I'd like to admit but they just hook you in!  Whether it's the burritos, enchiladas, tacos or tamale you will not be disappointed. The staff really enjoys seeing you walk in the door and you can't help but put a smile on your face when walking in. This is local business at it's finest. The food is fresh and authentic with a spice level to your taste (if you want the spice level up - just ask).  My husband is addicted to the enchiladas mole and gets them everywhere we go and MexicanZingo wins out every time in the tristate area.
